Howdy y’all!
This is my second newsletter where I share cool stuff people are doing on the internet.
You might remember me from my CatGPT project. I made it in one day to show that you can make fun stuff with AI, and millions of people loved it!

Today, we are going to look at health!
Cutting a bill from $195k to $33k with AI…
No-one wants a big hospital bill. Well this guy used Claude to find problems with his $195k bill and got it down to $33k. All with just a $20 a month Claude subscription. Incredible!
Hacking Whoop
Whoop is an extremely popular wearable for health nerds. It’s basically just a strap you wear around your wrist but it measures tons of things like Heart Rate Variability, your sleep quality and lots more. The kicker? You have to pay a subscription to access the software. It’s around $250 per year.
Well this guy wasn’t up for that so he vibe coded an app to extract data from his Whoop device without the propriety software. I think a lot more people are going to want to own the data that their devices collect.
Vibe coding an ipad app
This person’s parent was struggling to speak while taken ill in hospital. So he made a simple app for his dad’s ipad. It provides an easy way for his dad to just touch a button which plays a pre-recorded audio file for common phrases all patients say like “please call a nurse” or “I am thirsty”. It saves his dad a lot of effort with speech.
Detecting falls
A cancer survivor who had never coded before created a fall detection app for his elderly parents. 49 year old Srdjan Stakic pretended to fall down to test the cameras in his home. The app not only detects falls but also looks for trip hazards and monitors patient-carer interactions to check for any bad behavior. He is now working on building his fall detector into a product that anyone can use. https://www.aol.com/articles/vibe-coded-ai-caregiving-system-085901637.html
Patient health tracking on a budget
A full-time doctor in the UK vibe-coded that allows patients to track their health, order presciptions and book appointments. He had no technical background and just built his app using Replit. The best part? He made it for around 0.2% of the price that developers were quoting him to make the app.
Conclusion
People are taking their health pretty seriously these days. More and more companies are building tech to help with this. AI is going to help people track more data points and live much healthier lives, and I think that’s awesome.
Bragging about you 😽
