Hi there
You might remember me from my CatGPT project. I made it in one day to show that you can make fun stuff with AI.

Me headlining CatCon (it’s a real thing lol)
A couple of years have passed since CatGPT and a LOT has happened since then. We’ve got vibe coding, AI agents and people automating their lives with OpenClaw. It’s been pretty wild!
I’m starting this newsletter to share the cool shit that people are building. Calling it Bragging Rights (cheeky play on my last name, but also bc I love bragging about other people!) If you liked CatGPT, keep reading for more of the most fun bits on tech and culture in the world.
Let’s start with this anonymous Indonesian woman, whose boyfriend is a developer. She had never touched a line of code but she got interested when she saw what she could build with vibe coding. Now she has got to $800 MRR with a vibe coded iOS app.
She knows the basics of programming but no deep knowledge. She went viral on X. Even people like Marc Andreessen are talking about her. It shows you that anyone can make apps now and if you can get attention, you’re off to a great start.

Here are 5 other cool examples of vibe coding:
Plinq - Brazilian safety app
A Brazilian marketer made $456k in 3 months. She used the vibe coding tool Lovable to create an app which tells women if a man has committed crimes or not.

Whoop stress tracker
This just happened!! A dev synced up his Whoop to his work schedule and analysed his heart rate so he could figure out which of his colleagues were stressing him out.

Citesure
Another big money success. This guy vibe coded an app, Citesure, and then got to $10k MRR by promoting it on TikTok. Then his app got acquired by Jenni AI for $375k after only 6 months!

Stonkrider
This is nuts 😂
Ride the stock market charts of companies like Amazon on a motorcycle. There’s no money motive here but the guy has a buymeacoffee if you wanna donate.

Vibe sailing app
A bunch of people have made money from vibe coding games. This guy reached $8k MRR with a relaxing sailing simulator game despite only having a very small social media following. Big companies like Atlantic Records bought ad space on the islands. Genius.

Conclusion
Distribution is really starting to trump technical skills. It’s pointless now being a great developer unless you can get eyeballs on your app. I hope you stick around for stories about the cross-section of tech, abundance, and hype. I’ll also be sharing my perspective as I change up from being a pro athlete to becoming a founder.
Bragging about you 😽

p.s. I just got married 😻
